Job description
The Marketing Assistant provides administrative and project support to the Sales and Marketing teams. This role is responsible for reviewing and analyzing data to monitor campaign performance, coordinating the production of marketing collateral, and supporting a wide range of sales, marketing, and trade initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Reporting & Administration
- Extract and analyze sales and business data for recurring and ad hoc reports, including quarterly, sales, and customer reports
- Maintain and update reports as needed
- Attend weekly Senior Management and Sales Meetings and record meeting minutes
- Support documentation requirements for retail placement and customer onboarding packets
Sales & Marketing Support
- Assist in planning and maintaining the annual sales and marketing calendar, including sales meetings, new product launches, monthly promotions, social media initiatives, and email campaigns
- Track and report on the performance of new product launches
- Plan, coordinate, and track in-store and customer demonstrations
Design & Digital Support
- Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to develop digital and print marketing materials
- Assist in managing social media assets and email marketing campaigns
- Support updates and content additions to the company website
Trade Marketing & Events
- Assist in planning, coordination, and preparation of food presentations for sales meetings, customer meetings, and trade shows
- Participate in product presentations and customer interactions; travel may be required
- Manage marketing materials inventory and sample warehouse
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field preferred
- 2–3+ years of experience in marketing or a related role
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Strong organizational and time management abilities
- Familiarity with marketing tools and applications is a plus
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; Adobe Creative Suite experience is a plus
- Working knowledge of search engine analytics, web analytics, and business research tools
